Founded in 2002, AMBUSH® is the second line by Tokyo-based design duo VERBAL and YOON. AMBUSH® began as an experimental jewelry line with innovative pop art-inspired designs that capture Tokyo's distinct aesthetic. Later, AMBUSH® evolved into designing unisex collections that feature T-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, and more. Apparel gave the designers a blank canvas to continue telling their story, and a success story it turned out to be. AMBUSH®’s uniquely crafted designs of idiosyncratic style led to commissions and collaborations with an illustrious list that includes Louis Vuitton (Kim Jones), Sacai, UNDERCOVER, Off-White™, Moet, Bvlgari, Nike, Converse, Rimowa, and Gentle Monster.
