INTRODUCING: F.C. REAL BRISTOL

Founded in 1999 by renowned Japanese designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga, F.C. Real Bristol is a football-inspired imprint under the SOPHNET. label. Drifting away from SOPHNET.’s minimalistic casual garments and the unconventional twist to menswear classics of Uniform Experiment, F.C.R.B. aims to infuse street-style with athletic clothing staples for unique and functional sports-streetwear. From the latest NASCAR-esque Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Kiyonaga borrows the fluorescent colors and over-branding stickers for his whimsical take on football jerseys, while teamwear elements flourishes on jackets for the racing athletes. One notable piece is the Checker Flame Piste L/S T-Shirt, featuring the classic race gear checkerboard pattern throughout with flame graphic emerging from the hem. Soph. logo emblazoned in white at right chest contrasting the fictional F.C.B.R. logo on the left, with text "Bristol" printed in lime at back. Other highlighted items from the collection include the Supporter Jacket with multiple embroidered logo, checkerboard Practice Shorts in contrasting orange and lime, and the Flame Waist Bag in collaboration with New Era to round up the assemblage.
