LOEWE "Eye/LOEWE/Nature" 2019 Collection
[socials/]In line with the coming season, LOEWE unveils its Spring 2019 Capsule, dubbed “Eye/LOEWE/Nature”. This time around, creative director, Jonathan Anderson, draws inspiration from the great outdoors, creating a slew of utilitarian garbs that marry technical details with handcrafted fabrics.
The results are weather-proof parkas constructed with multiple pockets, for example, knit sweaters made up of semi-recycled cotton, various cargos and T-shirts emblazoned with scenes of nature, which boasts a new logo developed specially for this capsule. Unlike conventional outdoor apparel, the concise assemblage comes tinged in an array of vibrant color palettes that add another layer of dimension to the pieces.
Other highlights in the capsule include its accessories, which are all manufactured in Japan. Each backpack is meticulously hand-sewn from high-grade canvas with calfskin trim, creating a finish that’s soft to the touch. Considered details such as interior zip pockets, leather patches, contrasting stitching and cushioning are designed to make commuting to the countryside easier. Rounding out the assemblage are various tote bags and sling sacks that reflect the heritage of craftsmanship and LOEWE.
Releasing at 9AM EST, Jan 10. Check out the photos above for a look at the LOEWE “Eye/LOEWE/Nature” Spring 2019 Capsule and click here to read more about LOEWE.
