NEW DELIVERIES: ALYX FALL/WINTER 2018 COLLECTION

The ALYX Fall/Winter 2018 Collection takes inspiration from safety belts that founder and designer Matthew M. Williams came across during his visit to a Six Flags theme park. Williams' fascination with the hardware led to his reinterpretation of the industrial-like buckle, a design element that can be seen prominently featured throughout the label's latest range of functional silhouettes where Italian craftsmanship meets cool utility. Overall, the season's line-up brings together a blend of contrasting style-genres with nods to various subcultures such as punk, military and workwear, to name a few. One standout item is the ALYX Chest Harness, which can be seen sporting adjustable leather straps as well as metal rings and clasps, and is finished off with a large buckle lazered with ALYX branding. Another highlight is the ALYX Tactical Vest. Designed with plenty of exterior pockets and metallic zippers, details like nylon strap cording and leather accents round out the garment. Ideal for layering, the Tactical Vest is completed with a 100% down interior. Other pieces include an updated array of streetwear staples such as the ALYX Lace Up Hiking Boot and Green Camouflage Invisible Zip Tee.
