Mutewatch is a Stockholm-based company that makes silent touchscreen watches with a minimalist aesthetics. The Mutewatch was founded in Stockholm in 2008 by a group of young entrepreneurs - Mai-Li Hammargren, Oscar Ritzén Praglowski and Gustav Hammargren. The idea behind Mutewatch came about during a business idea competition at SSE (Stockholm School of Economics). The first product images were released on the 5th of August 2010 and within 24 hours Engadget, Gizmodo and many others had published the news. Traffic streamed to the website and preorders helped the founders to put the product into production. The mission statement of the brand is to make people more mindful.
