I Love Ugly.
I Love Ugly originated as an art collective specialising in illustration and graphic design. With the mission to create the “best products in the world,” New Zealand-based label recreates classic garments with their own special, at times eccentric twist.
The Militia Zespy develops the traditional style further, and brings it into line with the demands of modern streetwear. This garment is cut from a crinkle-resistant cotton poplin fabric, and features rear and thigh pockets with magnet closures, calf YKK zip pockets, and the iconic YKK ankle zip. In classic form, the garment is cut in a drop-crotch silhouette with metal I.L.U capped waist drawstrings.
With the mission to create the "best products in the world", I Love Ugly recreates classic garments with their own special, at times eccentric twist. Since its launch in 2008, the founders Valentin Ozich and Barnaby Marshall of the Auckland-based brand has successfully turned their passion for music, art and illustration into fashion.
