Combining contemporary design with artisanal techniques, Japanese brand Hender Scheme crafts sneakers from natural leather, creating truly one-of-a-kind footwear. The brand is most well known for its dedication to craftsmanship and precision, as well as its elegant reworkings of iconic footwear silhouettes.
The Manual Industrial Products 10 sneaker recreates the a beloved sneaker style, albeit with a minimalist redesign, for Hender Scheme's "Hommage" collection. The sneaker features the details of the original sneaker upper, such as the perforated lacing panel, but refashions them in monochromatic black leather that gives the sneaker a pared-down aesthetic.
"Gender" means social and cultural differences about sex, while "sex" refers to physical and biological differences HenderScheme proposes a concept which surpasses the "gender" schema based on society, but returns to the idea of "sex" based on one's appearance. Shop Hender Scheme
