Founded in the fall of 2004 from his longtime stint at cult Japanese label Tenderloin, BEDWIN is the brainchild of Masafumi "Bebetan" Watanabe. Just as both style and function come to be reflected in the clothing this band of nomads would wear during their travels, BEDWIN ventures throughout and creates only timeless, durable apparel with a minimal look that the wearer will never tire of in their everyday life. BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS is a Japanese menswear label founded and designed by Masafumi “Bebetan” Watanabe in 2003. The brand is known for designs inspired by traditional American menswear. Each collection blends Japanese design and Western styling, drawing influences from the Americana of the 1920s and 1930s. It is also one of the first brands in Japan to combine streetwear and tailored menswear.
