Inspired from the 1973 made artistic film “Holy Mountain”, Verbal and Yoon created this new collection for Ambush. Based in Tokyo and started in 2002, they experiment with materials such as metals, stones and plastics to create pop art style jewelry pieces. The claw ring in silver/ blue uses multicolored enamel on gold/ silver metal to create such an interestingly constructed accessory piece. The linked ring secures the 4 claws that spans from the ring, spreading across the fingers like actual animal claws, only with a twist in color for enhanced modernity and fun.
Founded in 2002, AMBUSH® is the second line by Tokyo-based design duo VERBAL and YOON.
