This editorial captures and explores the energy and emotions of youth and youth culture, taking inspiration from popular subcultures in young people, like street dance or skateboarding. Our Menswear stylist Gel, the mastermind behind this editorial, utilises brands that give off the same sprightly vibe, such as Raf Simons and Hyein Seo. Polar Skate Co., Perks and Mini, Kangol and Dime, which are known to refer to subcultures, are put in the mix to highlight the concept while reflecting the fun and vigour of adolescence. As for the location, a once-popular district for entertainment amongst youngsters was used to further accentuate the theme and complement the playful, grungy ideas of the editorial.
