Marked by his use of Cyrillic alphabets with streetwear staples, Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy's fashion venture Rassvet is now available on HBX. Translated from the Russian word рассвет, the word means “dawn” or “sunrise”, and it’s been used in Gosha’s collections since the very beginning. Gosha has become one of the most coveted labels in streetwear, and the idea behind the brand is simple. “The main idea is the beauty of Russia and its new generation.” Since the collapse of the USSR and the advent of social media, Russia has experienced a huge cultural upheaval, and is a thriving hotbed of young creativity. Rassvet, is a metaphor of Russia’s new creative rebirth.
From the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, notable pieces include the Light Wash Denim Jacket with contrasting collar and cuffs. A pair of matching Light Wash Denim Jeans is available for an overall look, to style with the Plaid Print Double Pocket Shirt. A range of logo printed t-shirts and sweatshirts are also available for casual street style looks.
