As the leading force of Japanese fashion house SOPH. by designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga, Sophnet.’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection is yet another assemblage of American influenced Japanese attire. With the lookbook starring director Aaron Rose in his LA home, styles are heavily infused with military and Hawaiian elements, seeing tailored suits, cargo pants and a selection of headwear.
One standout piece is the Zip-Up Blouson, swiftly exuding a Hawaiian style with graphics of fruits and plants printed on multiple color panels throughout the piece. Keeping your beach style even on a rainy day, the garb is waterproof with adjustable drawstring on the hood and hem. Another piece to highlight is the Coach Kung Fu Jacket. Dressed in all black, the classic silhouette is garnished by the use of Japanese style toggle fastening.
