As the perfect podium to showcase visions and inspirations, graphic prints have been long advocated by designers as a sine qua non to have in collections. Featuring OFF-WHITE, Undercover, Midnight Studios and Heron Preston, our latest selection of Long Sleeve Graphic T-Shirts is an assortment of idiosyncratic designs and cultural influences.
From the OFF-WHITE collection titled “En Plein Air”, designer Virgil Abloh celebrates graffiti culture with references to artist Dondi White. Backed by the ubiquitous "Crossed Arrows" logo reinterpreted in multicolor print, the OFF-WHITE Over Sweatshirt features the "Hands and Planet" graphic at front and a brand new branded typography on sleeve. To join the hordes of 1979 film "The Warriors", designer Jun Takahashi created eight fictional tribes for the SS19 Undercover runway — one known as the "Bootleg Truth". Worn by its 'members', the Undercover Sweatshirt features a bold illuminati-style triangle motif printed on the front and tribe logo at reverse, with white stripes garnishing the navy outwear.
Dubbed "I Remember Nothing" — a 1979 single from the renowned record "Unknown Pleasures" — the Midnight Studios collection nods to post-punk icon Joy Division as designer Shane Gonzales exudes subcultural minutiae through his design sensibilities. Front of the L/S Jersey T-Shirt, frontman Ian Curtis is revitalised in the form of lo-fi graphic emblazoned in monochromatic blue hue, crossed by signature catchphrase "Can You Hear Me Mother?" by comedian Sandy Powell. Heavy text prints referencing the album span across the sleeves and reverse, finished with the merch-inspired "Midnight Club" motif on the lower back. Rounding off the curation, the Heron Preston Doves L/S T-Shirt brings magic with the beaver hat and doves graphic, touched up by branded logos and "CTNB" typeface throughout.
