INTRODUCING: RHUDE SPRING/SUMMER 2018 "AMERICAN IDLE" COLLECTION

For the designer, Rhuigi Villasenor, setting the tone for Neo-Grunge is not new, and neither is his fixation on using thick fabrics with a wash that elicit a lived-in, grungy edge to the garments. Highlighted behind industrialized architecture, RHUDE's Spring/Summer 2018 "American Idle" Collection takes cues from motocross and '90s grunge. The LA-based label packs an assemblage of hoodies and T-shirts. Bold graphics emblazon a range of T-shirts; for example, a familiar cartoon is depicted at the back of the Some Kind of Wonderful T-Shirt, while the hand-treated Virginia T-shirt is shown in understated serif at the front. Featured hoodies include the Falling Checkers Rhacer Hoodie, the familiar Marlboro Hoodie and the Malibu Rhecovery Hoodie.
