A selection of Medicom Toy Be@bricks have just arrived at our Gift Shop. This time around, the Japanese collectible purveyor, best known for its collectible pieces of art including toys and action figures, brings forth an array of gifting ideas for the upcoming holiday season.
Never short of captivating renditions of its famed Be@rbrick design, Medicom Toy taps American graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, reimagining the bear silhouette with the late artist’s “Untitled (Jackson)” artwork from 1982. Another highlight is the Keith Haring collaboration, which pays homage to his iconic “Dancing People” piece with bold patterns splattered over a magenta canvas. Featured styles also include the Be@rbrick x Pushhead vinyl figure, boasting an unique all-over water transfer print in varying tones of copper. Rounding out the impressive series is the Steve Caballero Be@rbrick, with the legendary skateboarder-turned-musician envisioning the familiar figurine in the appearance of a blazing dragon. All Medicom Toy Be@bricks are rendered in both the 400% and 100% size, with the exception of the Pushhead partnership which is seen in a 200% dimension.
