Japanese streetwear imprint Human Made, creatively helmed by Nigo, taps fast-food chain KFC in its most recent collaboration. The duo dives into the rich KFC archives for design inspiration, seamlessly blending together the ethos of both brands. The 11-piece line-up maintains Human Made's attention to detail, quality and Americana aesthetic while the basis of the color palette throughout the release centers around KFC's iconic red, white and black.
The joint collection sees the Japanese label through a referential lens, offering an impressive assemblage of graphic-heavy pieces. A slew of tees, accessories, bags and headgear are printed on Human Made threads and further emblazoned with a throwback iteration of the restaurant's signature Colonel logo. The capsule also encompasses outerwear options, including hoodies and jackets, all featuring intricate embellishments and patterned detailings, alongside standout verbiage and graphic prints illustrating the connection to the fried chicken specialist.
