Exclusive to HBX: LOEWE Dinosaur Sneaker "Forest Green" and Rope Anagram Sweatshirt
The LOEWE Dinosaur Sneaker is a reminder that most things handcrafted come with a story. Inspired by a pair of Morrocan slippers that Jonathan Anderson had kept for years, the designer's fixation on craftsmanship comes to fruition where Mediterranean influences meet technical detailing. Featuring the exclusive "Forest Green" colorway, the shoes are made from handwoven whipstitching and natural vegetal leather, padded with a shock-absorbing sole and technical mesh lining.
Accompanying the sneakers is the exclusive LOEWE Rope Anagram Sweatshirt spotlighting the iconic insignia in thick yarn. The original design stretches back to 1970, where the Spanish artist, Vicente Vela, developed the quadruple-L Anagram based on branding irons used to mark cattle and leather skins. Fast-forward to today, the updated Anagram is a faithful iteration of Vela’s artwork, imbued with a contemporary feel while showing reverence to the Spanish heritage of LOEWE.
