Description

Katharine Hamnett, best known for her political t-shirts and her ethical business philosophy. Hamnett's oversized t-shirts with large block letter slogans, launched in 1983. She viewed her t-shirts as a way of getting her message across. Her first shirt featured the "CHOOSE LIFE" slogan, worn by George Michael and Queen was inspired by a Buddhist exhibit, it was a comment against war, death and destruction.

Reissued 1980s oversized slogan red t-shirts in pesticide free silk - Katharine wore a version at her infamous meeting with Margaret Thatcher.
