The 264-page print publication celebrates Hypebeast’s 20th anniversary by putting a spotlight on the cultural figures who’ve reshaped fashion, art, music, and more across the past two decades — a reflection of our roots and also a look at what, and who, shines ahead.

Featuring three distinct cover stories, starting with SEVENTEEN’s newest sub-unit, CxM, comprised of members S.COUPS and MINGYU. Additional covers will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The Platinum Issue also includes a collaborative T-shirt capsule featuring 20 brands and designers we’ve grown alongside, such as Takashi Murakami, Futura Laboratories, Brain Dead, Undercover, Supreme, BAPE, HUF, Virgil Abloh Securities, and more.

Fresh music features include extensive sit-downs with heavyweights James Blake, Ken Carson, and Justice.

Fashion stories showcase a curation of global labels and designers, including Comme des Garçons Homme Plus (featuring A$AP Nast), Our Legacy, ACRONYM, Auralee, Satoshi Nakamoto, Cecilie Bahnsen, Pedro Andrade and his two lines P. Andrade and Piet. Plus, stunning fashion portfolios by photographers Caroline Tompkins, Goldie Williams, and Nayquan Schuler.

Additional articles dive into the work of artists George Condo, Yusuke Hanai, and Mario Ayala, as well as skater Bobby de Keyzer.

Our guides highlight some of the most exciting and elegant retail spaces across the globe, artists/designers who incorporate lab-developed biofabrications and raw organic material into their creations, and a behind-the-scenes look at Auralee’s Paris fashion presentation through the eyes of photographer Scotty Tsunami.
