Jun Takahashi started his UNDERCOVER as a student at Bunka Fashion College, Tokyo, but the brand has grown exponentially since then to become a pioneer in avant-garde fashion in Japan and worldwide, living by its motto of “We Make Noise, Not Clothes”. To this day, UNDERCOVER continues to break barriers between the runway and streetwear with its unique designs.
Founded by fashion designer Jun Takahashi in 1994, the Tokyo-based cult label Undercover takes inspiration from British punk rock band “The Sex Pistols” and has quickly earned international acclaim with its forward-thinking designs. Undercover has produced highly successful collaborations with the likes of Nike, Converse, Kendrick Lamar, Eastpak and Zeptepi to name a few.
