About Still Good

" I've just always been living in this fashion world ", says French designer Clement Taverniti, who launched his up-and-coming line Still Good in 2012. He's referring to the fact that he's been a involved with the industry since he was a child, thanks to his father, Jimmy, who designs his own eponymous label in the south of France. An alumni of brands such as Dries Van Noten and Kitsuné, the younger Taverniti sees his style as a the mixing of two cultures — street culture and high-end, luxury culture . "When I'm making something, it's because I would want to wear it," Taverniti says. "I don't like trends. I want to create what I personally want and what I like. I appreciate, I look, I listen, but on the whole I completely disengage from the rest of what's going on in fashion. I have a feeling, an emotion, that comes out in the form of clothes."
