Raf Simons introduces an innovative detachable collar to the iconic Fred Perry shirt; the button-off multi stripe tipping design reveals a solid color rib collar beneath. Cut slightly longer in the body than the classic three-button shirt, the style also takes on more structure with the addition of two front darts, echoing Simons' signature tailored approach. The AW13 Raf Simons x Fred Perry collection is classically Mod inspired on the one hand and Americana inspired on the other. The classic Fred Perry shirt is updated with a checkerboard pattern and this season’s knitwear and outerwear, such as the classic Harrington jacket serve up traditional Mod styles. Mod inspired checked patterns are applied to woven shirts. Americana influences can be seen with ‘Fred Perry’ in oversized letters and collegiate inspired knitwear finished with twin tipping.
