Phenomenon, established in 2004 by Takeshi Osumi, reinterprets distinctly traditional Japanese silhouettes with influences from music and club culture. Not known for its conservatism, Phenomenon's collections are filled with a variety of vivid prints and colors, making the brand a regular in the wardrobes of Tokyo's avant-garde.
Phenomenon's Spring/Summer 2016 collection is founder Takeshi Osumi's last, and the designer has brought his A game this season, creating vibrant and eclectic pieces for the streetwear brand. This longline coat, inspired by the Japanese kimono silhouette, is printed with a striking army green camoflage pattern and embroidered around the collar with multi-color diamond pattern, making for an eye-catching piece.
