Founded with the intention of developing “higher signal-to-noise ratios” and prolonging “meaningful communication,” Obstructures is a company engaged in the design of indestructable aluminum guitars, occupiable boxes and various other types of spectacles in spatial and graphic form. Standard wallet design with a small footprint in the pocket made from bead-blasted titanium. Unbroken titanium surfaces provide an amount of RFID blocking for potentially increased security. Large enough for bi-folded US paper currency, and credit cards with room to spare. Triangle allows for easy access for cash and frequently used cards. Multiple configurations are possible. Includes integrated bottle opener. Available now in in typ3 dyeless.

Obstructures is a multi-disciplinary design collective engaged in the design of places, things and messages to include architecture, industrial and graphic design. Located in Knoxville Tennessee, Chicago Illinois and Auburn Alabama, the designers come from various backgrounds in design and are also design educators at DePaul University in Chicago, and the Auburn College of Architecture and Design in Alabama.
