Medicom Toy
Based in Shibuya, Tokyo, Medicom Toy Corporation was founded in 1996 to produce limited-edition figures and licensed products. It is the home of worldwide successful Kubrick and Bearbrick toy series. As a variation of the original Kubrick design, Medicom introduced the cartoon-like pot-bellied bear figure line back in 2001. Large-sized (400%) hand-carved Tohoku "chestnut" wood Bearbrick figurine finished with several layers of hand-painted, pure indigo dye. Available now in Karimoku indigo.
