The Roccia Vet is a style originally found in the Diemme hunting collection, readapted for city use through the Vibram Morflex Cristy sole. It is featured here in CORDURA® fabric from Italian supplier MAP - Moderna Accoppiatura Piemontese. CORDURA® is a high-tech fabric with exceptional resistance to tears, scuffs and abrasions. Even the lightest CORDURA® fabric has twice the abrasion resistance of comparable standard air textured nylon. The fabric has been treated with Teflon Fabric Protector to provide maximum water and stain repellency. Teflon surrounds each fibre, maintaining the breathability of the fabric. Vibram Morflex is an expanded rubber compound that has only 1/3 the weight of composition rubber, giving a very lightweight and flexible sole with a lot of cushioning. The inner lining is made from cow leather for extra softness and comfort. All components and materials are of italian origin. Handmade in Óne di Fonte, Italy.
All Diemme products are made at the Calzaturificio Diemme factory in Montebelluna, Italy, utilizing their 20 years of experience within the hunting, mountaineering and military segments, as well as their expertise producing for brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, Chanel, Bottega Veneta, and cult Japanese brands such as Nonnative and Bedwin & The Heartbreakers. The Diemme Footwear collection ranges from sneakers and lighter footwear to hunting and mountaineering boots readapted for city use. The ambition of Diemme Footwear is to produce the highest quality goods with an exceptional level of comfort, with progressive and innovative designs as well as sharply executed takes on classic footwear styles. The leather used is from Italian tanneries as well as imported leathers from world-famous tanneries like Horween Leather and C.F. Stead. All other components are of Italian origin.
