Chums is an American brand founded by Mike Taggett in 1983. Taggett was a river guide, and every day he saw his customers lose their sunglasses to the Colorado River. There came the inspiration, and from the back of his VW van with a $60 sewing machine, the first Chums original retainer was born, and the rest is history.
