Founded in Tokyo in 2011 by Sk8thing, Toby Feltwell, and Hishiyama Yutaka, Cav Empt (C.E.) blends Japanese streetwear with influences from science fiction, skateboarding, and underground music. Named after the Latin phrase “caveat emptor,” meaning “buyer beware,” the label is known for bold graphics, relaxed silhouettes, and experimental designs that explore technology and contemporary culture.
