Balenciaga

Founded by the Spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga over a century ago, Balenciaga was originally known for its sculptural, impeccably-constructed couture. After its revival by Nicolas Ghesquière in the 1990s, the label is now revered as one of luxury fashion’s most progressive, agenda-setting labels, notorious for its ability to create instant cult classics. Its current creative director, Vetements founder Demna Gvasalia, has brought a streetwear-inspired, disruptive energy to the house.
