UEG
Founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, PUMA has gained notoriety for dressing Olympians and top athletes worldwide. From their humble roots as the footwear company Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik, the iconic sneaker brand gained traction after runner Jesse Owens won four gold medals in the Berlin Olympics wearing their spikes. In recent years, the brand has focused on refining their iconic styles, collaborating with fashion labels from Jil Sander to BAPE.
UEG responds to the temporary nature of today's existence and the desire to be free of gravity. Puma's collaboration with Michal Lojewski invokes references to astronauts and echoes the metaphor of cosmic exploration – to rise above the ground. In a dramatic remix of the court silhouette, the Court Play Slip-On x UEG combines premium textiles with vulcanized rubber elements for a futuristic look.
