In a new multi-year deal, Penfolds, the Australian luxury winemaker, has joined forces with Human Made, naming NIGO as its first-ever creative partner.
The announcement marks yet another category for the Japanese designer, following his coveted projects spanning fashion, footwear, home, music and so much more. The Human Made founder and Kenzo artistic director, now joining forces with Penfolds, is launching One by Penfolds, a collection of wines celebrating the "oneness" of winemaking communities worldwide.
For the inaugural launch, NIGO has reimagined Penfolds' wine label in four designs feature one animal motif each. The bottles are decorated with a crocodile, rooster, panda and bear, respectively representing Australia, France, China and America, where the One by Penfolds wines are sourced. The motifs are illustrated onto the wine labels in the creative's signature style, with One by Penfold's logo printed in red along with Human Made's recognizable heart logo.

In conjunction with the collaboration, NIGO has created a range of exclusive Human Made apparel pieces, which are slated to launch on HBX in limited quantities. Designed in line with the One by Penfolds wine labels, the collection is comprised of graphic animal motif tees, as well as varsity jackets featuring Penfolds' logo on the front and Human Made branding on the back.
Kicking off with NIGO's first-ever One by Penfolds launch, the creative partnership will continue with more announcements to come in the year.
One by Penfolds by NIGO drops worldwide on July 13, while the accompanying apparel range will release via Human Made and HBX.
