HBX joins forces with La Detresse, a LA based fashion brand inspired by the pursuit of the perfect denim jacket, for an exclusive capsule collection. Founders Alana Hadid and Emily Perlstein, former stylists and friends, are known for their vibrant humor and fascination with distressed and tongue-in-cheek design aesthetics. Featured in publications such as Vogue, Who What Wear, and Vanity Fair, their designs are frequently worn and loved by many including Gigi Hadid, Tan France and Dua Lipa. Working with the duo, we have created staples that turn the expected pieces in your closet into unexpected looks. This collaborative collection fuses the love of vintage and androgyny with wearability and innovation to deliver unique, fun, and relaxed wardrobe essentials. The pieces are hand-dyed, sewn and sourced in Los Angeles and feature the label’s signature washes. Encompassing four exclusive styles, an oversized t-shirt, a pullover, sweatpant, and a denim jacket. The capsule reimagines La Detresse’s iconic half/half design in a blue/navy acid wash. The collection will be exclusively available at HBX.com from 9AM EST, May 16.
