Marine Serre's Aesthetics of Sustainable Fashion
[socials/]
Following the first drop of her Spring/Summer 2020 "Marée Noire" collection, Marine Serre returns with more logo-laden, upcycled apparel and accessories, including reimagined hues of the label's iconic crescent moon designs. Focusing on her eco-futurism and commitment to sustainability in design and production, half of Serre's ss20 staples are made from recycled materials, and the remainder is produced with fabric sourced from French mills. Rendered with a new monogram pattern comprised of reinvented half-moons, notable pieces are the matching Jersey Top and Leggings, as well as Yoga Top. Matching the fits is the Raincoat which made from recycled polyester with chest and back logos. Elsewhere, the Cyclist Bib / Catsuit and Midi Skirt With Zebra Side Panel are detailed with updated moon prints in blue. While the bodysuit sees an oversized branding on the front and laser-cut edge finish, the dress contrasts with a zebra side panel in yellow.

Another highlight is the Moon Intervened T-Shirt which reconstructed from a slew of vintage, regenerated graphics. Pairing the top is the Allover Moon Leather Bucket Hat with a front metal logo plate. Rounding out the range are the statement-making Jersey Sock Boots and Knitwear Moon Choker for an edgier touch to the looks.
