Capturing the energy of New York streets, the Heron Preston Spring/Summer 2020 Collection is inspired by the “vibe of concrete jungle”. With pieces experimenting heavily in tailoring and drawing inspirations from painter Robert Nava, the result is a mixture of workwear-inspired and casual graphic-heavy apparel. The designer also unveils a four-piece Gore-Tex collaboration, a partnership with Levi’s and also a Nike collaboration dedicated specifically to Air Max Day.
To capture the ideation of a concrete jungle and the big-city life, the collection is a neatly assembled section of citywear from bombers and field jackets to loose suiting and nylon pieces. The collection also sees heavy use of sheer fabric across polo and trousers pieces, while the industrial-inspired element and signature heron graphic motif continues to run throughout the latest seasonal pieces.
