Marine Serre returns to HBXWM with her Fall/Winter 2019 collection, dubbed “Radiation”. The Corrèze-born French designer quickly rose to cult status after winning the LVMH Prize in 2017 at the mere age of 25. Her iconic crescent moon designs have been famously spotted on the likes of Beyoncé, Kendall Jenner, Katy Perry, and more, and continue to secure their place as the season's hottest statement pieces. With Serre's post-apocalyptic and imagination-igniting design inspiration, the label's latest range features an expansive array of avant-garde staples ranging from accessories like the Jersey Gloves and Headbands to outerwear, T-shirts and upcycled denim pieces. Spotlighted first are the matching monochromatic Denim Moon Top and Denim Jeans. Printed with the label's signature all-over half-moon pattern, both pieces are constructed from washed and upcycled denim. While the top comes with an open-back cut and a press button closure on the upper back, the bottom sees an oversized pocket alongside a logo patch at the back. Pairing the set is the Woman Iconic Top. The design arrives in a mock neck, a contrasting motif on the front as well as a campaign lettering "RADIATION" at the upper back.
Other highlights include the shamanic-inspired Mask Graphic Shirt and Long Jersey Gloves. The pieces feature green-hued graphics throughout to showcase Serre's futuristic campaign idea. For more minimal styling pieces, reach for the versatile Minifit T-Shirt. Dressed with an iconic embroidered logo on the front, the silhouette is available in white/red and black/white colorways. Matching the T-shirt are the Long Jersey Gloves which are playfully detailed with branding throughout with contrasting fingertips.
Rounding out the range with a concise lineup of statement accessories that can be worn with any ensemble for a cutting-edge total look. While the Knitwear Moon Headband is offered in black/green and white/red colourways, the Long Jersey Gloves comes with all-over verbiage and bold reflective material.
