For the second collaboration between adidas Originals and Hender Scheme, two ZX 4000 4D colorways are released accented by Hender Scheme’s famous veg-tanned leather.
From the natural-toned model, the technical running sneakers place full emphasis on Hender Scheme’s signature tanned leather, utilised across different panels on the upper in stark contrast to the lightweight mesh. The white iteration of the ZX 4000 4D offers a pale toebox, grey “Three Stripes” branding, red topstitching, black suede across the midfoot and plenty of rich, undyed grain leather on the tongue, forefoot, ankle and vamp.
Meanwhile, its black counterpart boasts suede in place of the grain leather, keeping the upper understated aside from the pops of branded leather on the tongue and base of the laces. Both sneakers sport the beige 4D-printed midsoles that give the silhouette its name, complete with versatile black outsoles. Gold co-branding on the insole completes the collaborative effort.
