We've put together our latest picks of retro-inspired runners, highlighting '90s-era technologies, chunky soles and bright multi-colored paneling. Standout sneakers include the Reebok x Wanna One DMX Series 1200 "Park Jihoon" and the Puma x SANKUANZ Cell Endura sneakers.
The Reebok x Wanna One DMX Series 1200 "Park Jihoon" is an iteration of the classic DMX 1200 silhouette, donned in a muted grey base with bright fluorescent accents. The low top includes a spongy collar section and tongue, while leather, mesh and soft suede are added below. A thick pull tab is placed over the heel complemented by embroidered Reebok logos sitting along the sidewalls. With the colors pink, red, grey and white rounding out the design, DMX technology and a tractioned outsole grounds the sneaker with high resistance cushion support.
Another highlight is the Puma x SANKUANZ Cell Endura — a '90s classic drawn from the archives. There has been a slight adjustment to the original silhouette where the toe cap is now sleeker. But apart from a few minor changes, like updated fabrics, its distinctively chunky silhouette still remains intact. Boasting creamy beige mesh and suede uppers, hits of neon and purple appear at the lace cage, sole and inner collar. Its signature green CELL Technology can be seen through a semi-translucent bubble at the lower heel. In addition, reflective laces, a supporting EVA midsole and a detachable snap button TPU hangtag details the sneaker.
