At the creative helm of Chloé since 2017, Natacha Ramsay-Levi has infused the French label with her street-smart spirit and attitude. Embracing the entire history of the house and lifting a little bit from all of her predecessors, Ramsay-Levi has managed to transcend Chloé‘s romantic bohemian roots into a sexier, modernist aesthetic, maintaining the brand’s iconic retro allure while introducing edgier elements.
For Chloé‘s latest Fall/Winter 2019 collection, the Parisian designer brings forth an expansive selection of footwear options. Spotlighted first is the Maison’s newly launched Blake Low Top Sneaker. Seamlessly blending a cool mix of timeless suede calfskin and soft nappa sheepskin, the hiking-boot inspired silhouette offers feminine details in the curvy lines and flat almond toe shape, while the padded tongue reveals the Chloé “O” signature. Another highlight is the Bea Chelsea Boot. Cut from smooth shiny goatskin, the ankle boot is contrasted with a bright red, chunky ribbed sock knit and a flat square toe shape. Finally, rounding out the assemblage are the Roy Ankle Boots, available in monochromatic white and black colorways, and the Rylee Medium Boot, which features a cut-out graphic upper in printed python.
