SPECIAL RELEASE: NONNATIVE X ASICS YETI TOKYO HI GTX

For its latest round of collaborations, ASICS taps nonnative, Satoshi Saffen's Tokyo-based contemporary menswear label, bringing forth a utilitarian, military-inspired take on ASICS's Yeti boot silhouette. Taking cues from tactical boots, the Yeti sports a premium GORE-TEX approved suede upper with a matching sand beige rugged outsole. The tall urban hiker also boasts a bevy of functional details ranging from innovative looping laces allowing for maximum adjustability to replacing the heel drawcord of the original model with a combat boot style tape loop for the laces to wrap around the ankle to further secure the foot. Rounding out the design is “ASICS GORE-TEX” branding embossed at the top of the tongue, underlining the shoe’s industry-leading waterproof construction.
