Following the mastermind WORLD Fall/Winter 2018 Collection, designer Masaaki Homma unveils his next music and sub-culture inspired collection, “SCENE. II AMBITION”. Iterating the label's signature skull-and-crossbones motif, last season's grunge design elements have evolved into a new chapter of garments stepped in punk inspirations. The result is a collection comprised of new typographies embroidered on classic silhouettes with ingenious detailing, rounded off by a bevy of accessories.

Standout styles include the White Shirt crafted with multiple color-blocks in black and red with various typographies adorning the piece in line with the punk-inspired motif. Another standout piece is the Black Hooded Sweatshirt overlaid with the prominent skull-and-crossbones logo above the “Sex-Pistols” inspired typeface to the original branding on the back, with two zipped pockets at chest.

Another highlight is the mastermind WORLD x Suicoke collaboration, delivering three colorways of the espadrille slip-ons inspired silhouette. Midsoles embellished with stitched-on rope reinforced the shoe’s traditional inspiration, the piece is finished by embroidered gold branding on the toe and signature skull logo on the side. Styled with the Cargo Pants and the Track Jacket, the new collection encompasses a range of graphic garments redefining the brand’s aesthetic codes.
