G E O "Hyper-Graphical Studio HK" Capsule Collection

First conceived as a merchandise project, G E O, is a London-based design label founded by Ex-DONDA graphic artist, Geo Owen. Since its highly industrial "Collection One" line up, to its following travel-themed Collection Two, each assemblage has been compared to that of careful case studies on human interaction and physical geography. This time around, Collection Three along with the exclusive G E O "Hyper-Graphical Studio HK" Capsule Collection is presented in tandem.

Geo Owen started his career off designing album artwork for the likes of 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Big Krit, to name a few. Ranging from a spectrum of single and mixtapes covers, the designer has led various creative projects from digital and physical booklets to CD's and vinyls. In an effort to create more physical products, Geo has since been exploring garment design, with each collection revealing more of his creativity than its previous.

Lensed under the nocturnal haze of Hong Kong's neon street lights, our editorial is a reflection of the pieces presented in the exclusive G E O "Hyper-Graphical Studio HK" Capsule Collection. It's the aesthetic compositions of Hong Kong's urban geography, its people and local eccentrics which led London-based designer, Geo Owen, to conceive the exclusive capsule's designs. Aptly created under GEOgraphics, a segment of the GEO brand, vintage tones, mixed media and scanned elements were taken from old high school Geography textbooks, translated and redesigned into a "hyper-graphical" garment. Dubbed "Hyper-Graphical Studio HK", the collection spans an expansive spread of parkas, denim jackets, sweatshirts, long-sleeves, T-shirts and bags alongside a set of utility-inspired accessories.
The G E O "Hyper-Graphical Studio HK" Capsule Collection releases in-Store and online at 12AM EST, Aug 25th. Download our app to be notified of the release.
