As a follow up from last year's inaugural footwear launch, Pizza Hut makes a bold return with yet another fresh batch of kicks, straight from the oven: The Pizza Hut Pie Tops 2.0. The sneaker is an extension to its pizza-ordering predecessor and now dons a T.V. pause button at the tongue, a revolutionary solution to anyone who's been diagnosed — ourselves included — with chronic T.V. FoMO. In conjunction with The Shoe Surgeon, the kicks arrive in a delicious spread of red and wheat colorways, hosting playful upgrades, including the "cheese grater mesh".
The Pizza Hut Pie Tops 2.0. wheat version features a tumbled nubuck upper garnished with a rubberized sole. Conversely, its red counterpart packs full-grain leather accompanied by suede patches at the heel and toe cap. Strikes of “Marinara” appear at the medial and lateral sides in the form of patent leather, while a bonus "cheese grater mesh" cage shows out in white translucent webbing at the sides. In it, “PIZZA HUT” branding is marked. Subtle design details such as the hangtag, lace lock, tongue, heel and ankle collar complete the silhouette — additional “cheese pull” laces are included as well.
Releasing at 11AM EST, Mar 21. Check out the photos above for a look at the Pizza Hut Pie Tops 2.0.
