Established in 2013 in New York City, KARA is a bag line designed by Parsons graduate, Sarah Law. The name KARA derives from the Japanese word 'karaoke', which means 'empty orchestra'. The emptiness acts as a basis of possibilities that that create space for individuality and self-expression.
For 2018 Spring/Summer, the brand brings us minimal, easy to use, quality products that can be worn by anyone. Practical selections from the range include the multi-functional Pinch Tote that keeps all of your hopes, dreams and memos in order, and the classic Backpack that fits a lot yet doesn't feel bulky. Other fashion choices include the Waist Bag for a hands-free experience, and the Pinch Wristlet that makes an excellent party bag.
