For its most recent collaboration, Vans links up with American space agency NASA to launch a jointly designed space-themed footwear silhouette. The latest release sees a reiteration of the classic Vans Old Skool model heavily influenced by white spacesuits and adorned with Voyager elements throughout.
Dubbed the "Space Voyager", the sneaker sports a premium smooth white leather upper complemented with an array of reinforcing space detailings including "Shuttle Mission" pull tabs on the tongues and a removable velcro American flag patch attached on to the heels. The shoe is further accented by a John F. Kennedy Space Center stamp located at the mid-foot, with schematic printed insoles, tonal stitching and a gum rubber sole rounding out the design.
The NASA x Vans Old Skool "Space Voyager" releases 9AM EST, November 2. Sign up to our newsletter and download our app to be notified of the release. Check out the photos above to take a look at the collaborative sneaker and click here to read more about Vans.
