Sustainability initiatives in footwear are no longer a mere concept, but reality for Adidas. Continuing their collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, an organisation geared to raising awareness for our oceans and the ending of their destruction, the iconic EQT Support ADV (with Primeknit Upper) is reimagined in Parley’s signature colours of navy and aqua blue, with Adidas and Parley logo branding on the tongues. Navy laces and cages are offset by the white midsole transcending an effortless contrast between marine shades and athleticism.
Custom in design Adidas has continued their mission to using more sustainable materials, with an average of 11 plastic bottles per pair of shoe; upcycled plastic waste that has been intercepted on Maldivian beaches and coastal communities is turned into thread, that is then woven into the shoe.
