KANGHYUK was a Seoul-based streetwear brand founded by Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon in 2017. KANGHYUK was originally Choi's for his Master’s program at the Royal College of Art (RCA), therefore it is named after Choi. KANGHYUK is one of the nominees for the 2019 LVMH Prize, their creation aims at bringing concepts to life, ”making conceptual garments and making wearable clothes more comfortable to wear. For example, the spacesuit concept for their FW 2017 collection and the airbag component of the clothing.
