Comme des Garçons Shirt is one of more than twelve diffusion lines from the iconic brand. 19 years after the Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo founded Comme des Garçons, the Paris-based label expanded and launched Comme des Garçons Shirt in 1988. Continuing its avant-garde designs and imaginative silhouettes, Comme des Garçons Shirt does everything except make regular shirts. Comme des Garçons Shirt deconstructs the classic shirt, revealing hidden fabrics and innovating new shapes and proportions with graphics and pleats. In addition to shirts, the line also produces accessories such as shorts, sneakers, and hats in matching patterns.
