Jil Sander was founded in Hamburg in 1968. Since its conception, the brand’s vision was to produce garments of the highest quality with a sense of purity and strength. Jil Sander strikes a balance between masculinity and femininity, tradition and innovation. It is this minimalist and modernistic ideology that birthed Jil Sander's classic clean-cut silhouettes. In 2017, Jil Sander hired new co-creative directors, Lucie and Luke Meier, who worked in Dior and Supreme respectively.
