Penfield was established in Hudson, Massachusetts in 1975 by Harvey Gross. A pioneering figure in the American outerwear industry since the early 1960s, Gross recognized and championed the strength of down insulated outerwear for its unique and unrivalled ability to provide strong, durable warmth and protection. Full zip/snap button down jacket. Nappa leather shoulder yoke is instantly recognizable and also provides added durability on a key stress point. Two traditionally shaped chest pockets and two lower fleece-lined pockets with a reinforced zipped opening. Teflon-coated 60/40 cotton/nylon outer fabric with 255G of premium down. Available now in navy or olive drab.
