Japanese sneaker giant ASICS was founded in 1949 as a small line of basketball shoes but has become particularly famous for their durable running silhouettes such as the Gel Lyte and the Gel-Kayano, making the brand's distinctive crossed stripes design iconic worldwide.

The Asics GEL-Lyte™ V was first introduced in 1993 and is now back for the first time. This classic running sneaker has a sock-like fit instead of a traditional tongue, which reduces rub while running. They also have a combination leather and mesh upper, GEL Cushioning System, speckled accents on the midsole, and a rubber outsole.
